Aaron provides strategic communications counsel to U.S. and international companies across numerous industries in connection with court supervised and out-of-court restructurings, transactions, crises, litigation and other sensitive situations, as well as ongoing public and investor relations.

Credentials

Aaron joined Joele Frank in 2008. He received a JD from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was an editor of the New York International Law Review. He received a BA in history from Carleton College.

Recent projects include: Tops Markets’ pending merger with Price Chopper/Market 32; FLIR’s pending acquisition by Teledyne; Proterra’s pending de-SPAC with Arclight; Concho’s acquisition by ConocoPhillips; Salesforce’s acquisition of Slack; SiriusXM’s acquisitions of Stitcher, Simplecast and Pandora; and Centene’s acquisition of WellCare, among others. Notable spin-off transactions include Yum! Brand’s separation of Yum! China; Alcoa’s separation of Arconic; and Edgewell Personal Care’s separation from Energizer.

Crisis and Litigation Communications

He advises clients facing crises including federal investigations, regulatory inquiries, harmful legislation, facility disasters, workforce reductions, employee misconduct issues and unplanned leadership changes.
